People like Italy because of the fact that you get to enjoy a different experience every time you visit the country. There are so many places to see that it gets quite difficult to prioritize your visit and decide on what all you would like to check out. However, there are some places that people often overlook. If you like to visit such places which are essentially untouched by crowds or tourists, Le Marche is the region for you. The buildings here are all from a really long time ago and have largely remained unchanged.
Once you do visit the place, you will not know what to expect. Despite all there is about the area, there is still so much left undiscovered and potentially not documented in any travel book. Many people come here for some reason and go back with a different experience altogether. The beautiful mountain villages are a treat by themselves. When you do visit these villages, you might be thoroughly spellbound with how the buildings and the lifestyle of the people remains largely unchanged and is reminiscent of the renaissance period. This is what is unique to the entire region and it feels like you have stepped into a time capsule. The experience is surreal and possibly hard to explain, even if you do want to recollect it.
The locals are very friendly. Le Marche has amongst the friendliest people in Italy. Unlike the people in cities like Florence and Venice, the people here are actually willing to take the time out of their lives to talk to you and tell you a thing or two about the town. They are very hospitable and will make anyone feel welcome. The best part is that you might even be invited to hang out with them and share a meal or two with the family. This is what makes visiting this region all the more personal.

If you are worried that you are too isolated and would like to get to an area which has more people, then you should head over to the Urbino, which was the seat of power in the middle ages. This part of the region has a higher population and people are just as friendly. You have more things to do like shopping and visiting the places and a lot to discover at the same time. Ultimately, the experience is more dependent on what you want to do and could potentially turn out into something very different from what you had planned.
