Contraceptive pills are used as a method of birth control by most of the females in the world. These pills are generally oral pills. When they are taken daily, they inhibit female fertility. The contraceptive pills are a combination of two female sex hormones, progesterone and estrogen which are responsible in birth control. The most important thing that has to be kept in mind is that morning after pill is only an emergency contraceptive method and is not for normal use. Morning after pill does not help in terminating an already conceived pregnancy. It is a wrong myth that is rumored to be true. No contraceptive pill terminates pregnancy, the pills that are available for it are different.
