Apart from the above mentioned ways of purifying the water, you can also apply the reverse osmosis process to purify the water. In that process, a membrane is used that has the property of great chemical resistance and great mechanical strength that removes all the unwanted chemicals and microorganisms from the water and makes it safe for consumption. It also helps in removing the calcium and the magnesium ions from the water thereby changing its property into soft. Using any of the above mentioned methods can give you safe water that you can happily consume along with your family.
