Some of the important Black Jack rules in casinos are the Hit and Stand rules. The Hit rule dictates that a player can take another card . He signals this ny scraping cards against the table. The stand rule indicates to player that he cannot take any more cards. It is also reffered to as stick. The Split rule indicates that a player can double the bet and make each card be the first card in a new hand. It is allowed if the cards have the same rank.
Some other Black Jack rules also include; Double after split, Double on 10 or 11 only, Late surrender, Resplit aces, number of deck rules, Dealer soft 17, Dealer wins ties,European-no-hole-card rules, Altered payout for natural, Five card Charlie and Five card trick.
The double after split black jack rules dictates that the player should play a hand after a split the same as the first two cards. The rule is only applicable for double for a two-card hand from a split the same as the first two cards. The late surrender rule dictates that a player may surrender and retrieve half of his initial bet before he takes further action on his game. Though most Poker game casinos do allow these but some do not accept the rule. The dealer-wins-ties rule dictates that in an eventuality of a tie between the dealer and players, the dealer will win the game. This is widely unacceptable in many casinos ,hence it is not part of the general Black Jack rules.
The European no-hole-card rule dictates that the dealer does not receive a hole card, but if the dealer is later found to have blackjack, the player loses only his original bet but not any additional bets. This is also acceptable in some Casinos and not all casinos. The Five card trick or five card Charlie is a Black Jack rule that dictates that a player will always win player when five cards have been drawn without busting unless there is a blackjack on the table.
The double on 10 or 11 rule is annoying to many players because doubling soft hands is considered part of the game. It is a rule to prohibits players from doubling the hand. It is one of the Black Jack rules that are not accepted in many Casinos.
