This is simply because these are people who probably play the piano themselves. With this, the person who is in charge of the store is most likely able to tune, and repair the piano when it needs it at a reasonable price. If you are up to doing a bit of searching you can find a great deal online. Take for instance electronic keyboards. They have grown in popularity over the years. Top of the line keyboards are "Yamaha Tyros 2, KorgPA 2x Pro, and Yamaha Motif XS". The cheapest place to find these types of keyboards would probably be online auction places like E- Bay. However, be on the lookout for scams. The current scam is the "Yamaha Tyros 3 on E-Bay". Reason: this keyboard isn't out yet. Now those were the top of the line keyboards; however, there are many others to choose from such as Casio, Ketron, Korg, Roland, Technics, and Yamaha. Online auction houses just take a little time and patience to get the keyboard that you desire. Just be careful not to be a victim of a scam.
