While vehicle collision deaths are at an all time low and continue to decline due to
new manufacturing standards, government safety measures and tougher DUI laws, personal
injuries continue to cause injury and financial burdens.

According to the latest statistics available from the government the highway death rate
continues to decline but such collisions still rank as the number one cause of personal injury.
There are many causes from poor vehicle and highway design and maintenance to the impaired
driver.

The other 10 primary causes of accidental death are:

10. Machinery
9, Medical and surgical complications
8. Poisoning by gases
7. Firearms
6. Suffocation
5. Fire and burns
4. Drowning
3. Poisoning by solids and liquids
2. Falls
1. Motor vehicle crashes

Many of these result in personal injury caused either by negligence or accident. While some accidental deaths are on the decline, personal injury ranks as one of the leading causes of family and personal stress. As these injuries occur the victims seek ways to cope with life-upsetting events, from injury and mental anguish to added financial burden. Many victims turn to family, friends and church in addition to seeking legal assistance. While some are reluctant to seek legal help, they have the right to compensation for damages, medical bills and loss of income.

A Personal Injury Attorney also known as Personal Injury Lawyer is a, or set of professionals
who has the legal license to represent a victim who has undergone physical and mental trauma
due to someone else's fault. In many instances the insurance companies generally do not cover
the emotional trauma experienced after the accident. Our Myrtle Beach Personal Injury Lawyer works to make sure that the insurance companies cover the entire expense. He or she sees that the injured
person gets the proper compensation regardless of the cause of the accident.
